As an enneagram 7 and Leo star sign with Sagittarius rising, I've always hated authority. Like, SO much.
When I started my 9-5 journey, it just didn't feel right.
I didn't want to commute for 2 hours. I didn't want to make small talk with people. I didn't want to work on someone else's dream.
I got burnt out and developed chronic headaches. Thousands of dollars and weekends wasted at doctor's offices without an answer later, I started taking very much needed sick days so I could prioritize my mental and physical wellbeing.
And it was my lifeline.
When I finally quit my job to start my own business at the beginning of the pandemic, I fell back into my old corporate behavior, working late nights and constantly feeling behind on all I wanted to get done.
But after beginning to feel misaligned and frustrated yet again, I realized that I hadn't made time for the reasons I started my business for in a long time:
to create a life that would allow me to live a freedom-led life while prioritizing my wellbeing.
So, I simplified my routines, created a schedule that prioritized me-time while still getting my work done, and learned about biohacking to work with my body vs. against it - and through it all, I found the time-freedom, inner peace, and clarity I’ve always longed for.
